Prissy's "It's Looking Sunny for the Constitution" Sunday

The Prissy Patriot will return Tuesday...

NOTE: For readers looking for Dubya pictured flipping "the bird"-here is that link: prissypatriot.blogspot.com/2005/10/right-wing-red-neck-white-collar-gets.html

The whole world holds it's breath, waiting, waiting. Will the Bush administration really come crashing down, bringing what's left of the RNC with it?

Will Iraq settle down and become the Democracy Dubya said it would become, once the votes for the Constitution are in?

Prissy thinks the first is more likely than the last.

And the ones left standing for Dubya? Be kind but firm with them, they were unduly influenced. Their faith was misused for an agenda. Google "Battered child syndrome" and "Stockholm syndrome" for more. Hot Links

911busters.com/video/MOV/CC13_Michael_Rupert_Cheney_Morning_911.html Michael Rupert on 911-Citizens Commission-Claims Indictments would be valid for this incident-Names Cheney as executor of the attacks. Wrote "Crossing the Rubicon"-claims the book itself is admissible in court. Written from the view of a homicide detective. Says if you don't believe in "conspiracy theories" then you must not be aware of the "Manhattan Project"....

A very compelling speech.... Constant, If you get the chance, Prissy would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Excerpt:Even if a majority of Iraqis backed the constitution it could be vetoed if two-thirds of voters in three of Iraq's provinces reject it. But partial returns suggested "No" voters reached this target in only two of Iraq's 18 provinces.

english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/470156E9-6BD9-4653-A700-FE8E465B607D.htm Al-Jazeera-Iraq begins vote count Iraqi people speak out about the vote on a Constitution:

"I reject the constitution. It includes many things that serve federalism and the division of Iraq. It includes many things that do not serve Iraq."

"Say 'yes', what for? Say 'no', what for? We want to understand the constitution before giving a 'yes' or 'no' vote. Unfortunately, since the constitution was drafted, we have been hearing conflicting reports from various political parties saying this article should be changed and that does not serve Iraqis. We do not even know what these articles are, to vote for or against them."

"The constitution is a good thing - it decides the fate of Iraqis. We should not stay lost. We support it and we all agree on it. We will vote for the constitution."

"Any Iraqi, if a real and true Iraqi, should reject this constitution as it aims to divide Iraq. If an Iraqi citizen is honest, he does not like his homeland to be divided."

counterpunch.org/cox10132005.html Counterpunch-Did You Know This About Iraq?By STAN COX Excerpt: Did you know that half of all Iraqi households still don't have access to clean water?

Did you know that only 8% of Iraqi households outside Baghdad are connected to sewage networks?

Did you know that out of 81 water and sewage treatment projects planned as part of the reconstruction effort, 68 have been abandoned?

Did you know that the power in Baghdad is out for 14 hours a day? Did you know that 330 reconstruction contractors, mostly Iraqis, have been killed?

Did you know that a quarter out of every dollar allocated for reconstruction is being spent on security instead?

Did you know that Iraq's oil production is lower than before the 2003 war, and 46% lower than before the 1991 Gulf War?

globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=viewArticle&code=NOR20051015&articleId=1093Global Research-Bush told Blair of 'going beyond Iraq'

Excerpt: George Bush told Tony Blair shortly before the invasion of Iraq that he intended to target other countries, including Saudi Arabia, which, he implied, planned to acquire weapons of mass destruction.

Mr Bush said he "wanted to go beyond Iraq in dealing with WMD proliferation, mentioning in particular Saudi Arabia, Iran, North Korea, and Pakistan," according to a note of a telephone conversation between the two men on January 30 2003.

Nooo kidding.....

About the Mayor race in New York:

nynewsday.com/news/local/newyork/politics/nyc-ferr1014,0,2767805.story?coll=nyc-homepage-breaking2 Bill Clinton to stump for Ferrer

Excerpt: An appearance by Clinton, who is still well-liked in the city, could boost Ferrer's campaign with less than a month to go before the election. A Marist College poll released this week showed Mayor Michael Bloomberg easily out-pointing Ferrer.

Some observers have suggested that Democratic leaders have been slow to help Ferrer in what is one of the higher-profile races of the season. But in the past week, Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean and former Sen. John Edwards, a 2004 Democratic vice presidential candidate, have made public appearances with him.

And one more.... For Air America listeners- An Open Letter To Randi Rhodes On Impeachment http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/WOO510/SOO250.htm

Excerpt:Dear Randi Rhodes,

You were talking today about our poll on impeachment, so Bob Fertik called in to speak with you. But you spent the whole conversation attacking the idea of impeachment, claiming that it couldn't succeed and would therefore make any Democrats who tried it look stupid.

In today's Washington Post-

DHS Is Losing a Coordinator

Joshua Filler, director of the Office of State and Local Coordination for the Department of Homeland Security and before that a member of Rudolph W. Giuliani's cabinet when he was New York mayor, is heading off to the private sector, entertaining offers from consulting firms here and in New York.

Prissy understands this guy actually knew what he was doing....no wonder he's leaving government service. Our loss.
