Washington D.C. Protest Pictures January 27,2007

UPDATE: More pictures added...Prissy's blog is getting slammed today. Welcome!

No hot links today, take a look at the protest.

Action idea: Call your Senator's office with these questions

Prissy: Hello, I am Prissy Patriot, a constituent who voted for the Senator. I am part of a military family and would like to know how many people called today in opposition of the war.

Sen office: 43 today

Prissy: How many called in favor of the war?

Sen office: Um, none.

Prissy: I see...and how many called today in opposition of torture?

Sen office: About 12

Prissy: How many called in favor of torture?

Sen office: Zeeeero (sighing now)

Prissy: When is Senator Voinovich going to begin representing the majority of his constituents?

The rally in Washington was wonderful-a beautiful, sunny 50 degrees-perfect protest weather. How many were there? Organizers said 500,000 the media said less than 100,000. Prissy can only tell you there were a lot!

Readers, feel free to pass them around-but if you are with corporate owned-media or you support this ungodly war, you must first obtain written permission.

Military Families Speak Out

Military mom who from Florida who came for the protest with a daughter. Because the msm has done such a poor job of coverage, this mom didn't know there's an organization of more than 3,000 like minded military families. Welcome to this new member-the other side of her sign showed her son in full military dress blues. It said "MY PRIDE". You've got it Mom and that's why we can't let the warmongers win...

These Iowans didn't care for Hillary! "Just say NO" to dynasty families. As much as Prissy would love to see a woman president, we can do better than her...

Way to go OHIO!

This picture was taken in front of the Russell building. Prissy had to climb to take this shot. Thank you to the young man who gave her a hand up.

Thank you Canada!

What kind of "End the War" protest would be complete without these guys? The "counter-protestors".

Should have seen this guy froth at the mouth when Prissy said "You know, my relative fought in Iraq for you to have the right to stand there and make a fool of yourself."

The others with him looked at me like this:

The nice policeman said "Prissy, please don't talk to the animals."

These nice ladies didn't think the counter protestors knew what they were talking about. Oh Dubya, these folks want an answer to the question below...

Well look who showed-up Dearest Readers, it's the devil himself.

A determined protestor

Because Blackwater didn't swear an oath to defend the United States of America and Constitution against enemies BOTH foreign and domestic, that's why...

This is the sum attitude the world over...
