Last Port of Call For Dubya and Friends...

Dearest Readers, We are a little behind on pod cast production, due to The Daily Show lack of taping. Also, Betty has had to go out of town to assist family members, so we are aiming for mid-March.

We have a good show in mind and we hope you will be entertained and informed when you listen.

The Prissy Patriot will post updates throughout the day.

NYT- Prissy told you this months ago. Where were they? Bush Policies Are Weakening National Guard, Governors Say

In a preview of their message, all 50 governors signed a letter to the president opposing any cuts in the size of the National Guard.

Nearly one-third of the American ground forces in Iraq are members of the Army National Guard.

This month the Pentagon backed away from a budget proposal to reduce the authorized strength of the National Guard to 330,000 soldiers, from 350,000.

Speaking of lack of accountibility... The same problem we had with 911 donations and the missing $$ in Iraq. Two-Thirds of Katrina Donations Exhausted

Six months after Hurricane Katrina laid waste to the Gulf Coast, charities have disbursed more than $2 billion of the record sums they raised for the storm's victims, leaving less than $1 billion for the monumental task of helping hundreds of thousands of storm victims rebuild their lives, according to a survey by The Washington Post.

Google video from the Iraqi Resistance in English. This will come as no surprise-they want us to LEAVE. Push the triangle play button to start clip.

Many of our reservists are also full time police officers in the states. They know they have been misused. Bring them HOME.

Was 911 preventable? Able Danger thinks it was... Dancing on 3,000 Graves Listen to conference call with Curt Weldon, too. Prissy is sorry she missed that one, would have liked to blog the call.

The IC has advocates and lobbyists. They don’t work on K Street, but the function is the same. One need only look at the current make-up of the one big “reform” the IC has seen since 9/11 – the Office of the Director of National Intelligence – to prove my point: A deputy-director who ran the nation’s SIGINT capability, scores of assistant-deputy directors drawn from the senior ranks of SIGINT and HUMINT agencies, etc. Capable? Sure. The right people to fix a broken system? Hardly.

Congress isn’t any better. Of the 22 members of the subcommittee that could have heard potentially the most damning testimony about AbleDanger, three could bother to show up. Three who thought deeper insight into what we knew prior to 9/11 (or 10/00) was more important than meetings on how to bring home more bacon.

The press? Too busy trying to poo-poo other intelligence-related stories or pretending they know that “over-under” means something other than a position in the Kama Sutra.

In fact, the only lobby for doing the right thing is a raving Congressman, a few curious Bloggers, and the families of the dead.

The Able Danger blog roll lists Michelle Malkin-no offense guys, but she is not on your team, even if she is cute...

Hostages: Ijaw Warn On US Anti-Terror Squad

But Governor James Ibori of Delta State in a text message to our reporter, yesterday, allayed fears that the presence of the US anti-terror experts would make the militants to harden their position on the release of the hostages, pointing out that the negotiation for the release has nothing to do with the American team.

He said the militants had their people outside the country too and would not harm the hostages, because, on good authority, they were kidnapped as a human shield to negotiate a stoppage to the bombardment of Ijaw villages.

War Rhetoric Blows Back in Port Furor

"A view broadly held in the United States and even more so overseas was that deterrence of Iraq was working, that Saddam was being kept 'in his box' and that the best way to deal with the weapons problem was through an aggressive inspections program to supplement the sanctions already in place," Pillar wrote.

But Bush, in his major speeches on the war, repeatedly insisted that the U.S. could not take the risk that such assessments were wrong.

In making his case for invasion, Bush focused partly on actions Hussein had taken — invading Kuwait in 1990, using chemical munitions against his own people, impeding international investigation of his weapons programs.

But much of Bush's argument centered on what Hussein might do in the future. Words like "could" and "might" were linchpins of the president's case.

Hated what he has done, that is...

Neorepublicans, the last of your die-hard dupes are now questioning your lack of judgement...Bush appeal wanes for some Republican faithful

"We ought to be able to run our own ports," said Dukes, a muscular 45-year-old whose full-time job is as a police trainer in the central Louisiana city of Alexandria. "Right now, if we had an election, I don't know what in the world I'd do."

Even William Buckley woke up. It Didn’t Work

And he isn't talking about the marketing campaign for the ports... One can't doubt that the American objective in Iraq has failed. The same edition of the paper quotes a fellow of the American Enterprise Institute. Mr. Reuel Marc Gerecht backed the American intervention.

It failed because it was never a just war to begin with...and Chickenhawks wanted this war-not the military. Being warriors, they have more sense than Chickenhawks.

From the BBC High Court bid to block P&O deal

A US company will try to block the controversial £3.9bn ($6.8bn) takeover of shipping giant P&O by a Dubai firm in the High Court in London on Monday.

Miami-based Eller & Co has lodged a petition arguing the purchase by Dubai Ports World may harm its interests.

Speaking of neoRepublican and their ability to secure the country, let us not forget this: Report cites warnings before 9/11 From CNN, Sept. 2002

U.S. intelligence officials had several warnings that terrorists might attack the United States on its home soil -- even using airplanes as weapons -- well before the September 11, 2001 attacks, two congressional committees said in a report released Wednesday.

Dubya, The Ugly American, does it again...Insults to the Mahatma, ignored by India

George W Bush's protocol handlers have notified South Block that the American President's deep belief in his born again faith precludes his visiting Mahatma Gandhi's Samadhi at New Delhi's Raj Ghat -- during his forthcoming visit to India.

When asked -- by reporters on a recent trip aboard Air Force One -- if he will be breaking a decades long tradition of foreign dignitaries visiting India paying respect to the Father of India, Mr Bush, as is his wont, was caught off guard and mumbled something about how the Gospel of Jesus Christ views cremation as a pagan practice.

And...The absolutist Saudi monarch not only broke a hallowed tradition of paying homage at Raj Ghat observed by every foreign leader but offered an outrageously preposterous reason for doing so.

The king is reported to have indicated that a visit to the Mahatma's memorial would violate the principles of his faith. By inference, India's current head of State President A P J Abdul Kalam should be guilty of sacrilege for his many visits to the Samadhi

Granny claims it isn't about color, creed or religion, but simply that, "birds of a feather, stick together." She also tells Prissy she thinks if the port deal goes through, it is due to blackmail. Of course, Granny's only proof is her well-developed ESP...

Guarding the Truth Female German Concentration Camp former Guard speaks

Konzentrationslager Ravensbrueck was completed in 1939 to incarcerate Hitler's political enemies, but within a few years it had evolved into a brutal exemplar of Nazi "extermination through work," a slave labor camp where "undesirable" women -- first German opponents of the regime and prostitutes and criminals, then Gypsies, Jews and resisters -- toiled for the Nazi war machine. By mid-1944, the camp -- a high-walled, barbed-wire hellhole in which 40,000 starving, disease-ridden prisoners were crammed into barracks built for one-fifth that number -- supplied slaves to dozens of satellite camps and factories locally and across Germany.

The camp also served as the training ground for female SS guards, who, like notorious war criminal Irma Grese, then went on to serve in death camps such as Auschwitz, Bergen-Belsen or Maidanek. Several dozen, with whips and dogs, ran the barracks alongside armed SS men, and more than 400 others marched the prisoners to their grinding work each day. Historians have shown that virtually all these female SS guards were simple German-speaking women from either the surrounding Mecklenburg region or Austria; most, like Margarete, were under 30, unattached, and had little schooling.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.--George Santayana (1863 - 1952), The Life of Reason, Volume 1, 1905

The Fix by Chris Cillizza at the Washington Post Rep. Cunningham Enters Guilty Plea, Resigns

According to The Associated Press, Cunningham admitted "he took $2.4 million in bribes to steer defense contracts to conspirators." The defense contracting firm at the center of the scandal is MZM Inc., which is run by Mitchell Wade. Here's one of many Post stories from earlier this year with background on Wade's ties to Cunningham.

Cunningham is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 27. FindLaw.com has copies of the charges filed against Cunningham and his plea agreement.

More about MZM-Cunningham issues statement on home sale

MZM provides highly classified human intelligence support to the U.S. Military. While I am not at liberty to discuss the specifics of MZM's classified work, I can say that in 2003 MZM was actively seeking space for its operations close to Miramar Marine Corps Air Station. Mr. Wade shared with me that his company hoped to acquire space where he could locate highly secure communications equipment along with quarters for employees visiting from other cities. I informed Mr. Wade that Nancy and I were contemplating selling our home in the Del Mar Heights neighborhood, which is close to Miramar.

After learning about the size and location of our property, Mr. Wade advised me that MZM would be interested in purchasing our house. I understood that MZM wanted the property for use as an office and as corporate housing until such time as MZM could locate more secure facilities for its operations at one of the military installations in the San Diego area. However, my understanding was that MZM would retain ownership of the property for use as corporate housing even if Mr. Wade was able to locate a more secure facility for their office operations at Miramar.

From USA Today Bush administration won't reconsider ports deal

The president's national security adviser said the White House would keep trying to persuade lawmakers — there's more time since the company offered to delay its takeover — but the administration wouldn't reconsider its approval.

"There are questions raised in the Congress, and what this delay allows is for those questions to be addressed on the Hill," Stephen Hadley said. "There's nothing to reopen."

There you have it. In other words, they will do as Dubya damn well pleases. No law or lawmaker will stop them. They have made so many other reliable decisions regarding national security...and say we should continue to "trust them."

By the way, the Coast Guard DOES NOT inspect cargo coming into American ports! They are lying AGAIN...Geez, the kids in the prisons didn't lie as much as this crowd.

Blunt truths, from Doug Thompson at Capitol Hill Blue The S.O.B. has to go

He is more dangerous than Osama bin Laden and more corrupt than any President in modern history. He is, simply put, a threat who must be removed from office now by whatever legal means necessary to protect the safety of the nation.
Howard Scripps News -Bonnie Erbe Time to impeach Bush
Personally, I do not find illegal wiretapping to be the worst offense committed against our nation by this president. I'd rate purposefully destructive federal overspending as the most egregious transgression. Did you happen to notice last week Treasury Secretary John Snow "informed Congress that he would begin borrowing from the federal employees' retirement fund to avoid exceeding the nation's statutory debt limit of $8.184 trillion"? That, as reported by my Scripps Howard colleague, Dale McFeatters.

I'd rate "tricking" Americans into a costly, deadly, unwinnable war in Iraq and alienating most other nations as second. I'd rate wanton disregard for science and the promotion of so-called junk science to wit, global warming is a gossamer concept as an excuse for environmental destruction as third. Abramoff-related partisan corruption and the outing of CIA agent Plame would figure in there somewhere. And somewhere lower down the list would come warrantless wiretaps.

From TruthOut White House 'Discovers' 250 Emails Related to Plame Leak by Jason Leopold.

The emails are said to be explosive, and may prove that Cheney played an active role in the effort to discredit Plame Wilson's husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, a vocal critic of the Bush administration's prewar Iraq intelligence, sources close to the investigation said.

Sources close to the probe said the White House "discovered" the emails two weeks ago and turned them over to Fitzgerald last week. The sources added that the emails could prove that Cheney lied to FBI investigators when he was interviewed about the leak in early 2004. Cheney said that he was unaware of any effort to discredit Wilson or unmask his wife's undercover status to reporters.

If they had not discovered them, the Germans have a technology to "bring them back" from dead hard drive. Apparently, someone told the Bushies this and now the missing emails have been "found." Another amazing Bush world coincidence.

See below: From a right-wing nut child. This boy apparently gets ALL of his news from FOX, because this lad won't be hit with the truth until it bombs his suburb. Oh my... Should we prosecute sedition? He doesn't even know what sedition is. Perhaps this young man should be prosecuted for disloyalty to his country as well as the Constitution; or at least spanked and sent to his room to read it.

His date of birth? 1984! Read the book too, lad...And he thinks he should be telling grown-ups what to do.

Let us consider, however, the probable consequences of Gore's mea culpa on behalf of the "majority" of his countrymen. No doubt his words will fuel the massive tide of propaganda spewing forth from Muslim dictatorships around the globe. No doubt his words will be used to bolster the credibility of horrific disinformation like the Turkish-made, Gary-Busey-and-Billy Zane-starring monstrosity "Valley of the Wolves: Iraq," which accuses American troops of war atrocities and depicts a Jewish-American doctor (Busey) slicing organs out of Arab victims and shipping the body parts off to New York, London and Israel. No doubt Gore's speech will precipitate additional violence against Americans in Iraq and around the globe.

Al Gore-sue this boy for slander. Someone needs to teach him the facts of life-his Reaganite parents obviously failed in their duties. Cash will not quench his thirst, when water is required. Ask the residents of New Orleans...

Prissy has seen juvenile delinquents with a better developed sense of American patriotism. We should pity boys like Ben...Ben has a large vocabulary, yet no real world experience from which to justify his view.

Educate yourself, son...because you are destroying your own future! From the U.S. Army War College, Strategic Studies Institute in PDF A Hundred Osamas: Islamist Threats and the Future of Counterinsurgency

This monograph takes its title from President Hosni Mubarak's prediction that American involvement in Iraq would give rise to a "hundred Osamas." The author explores "the new jihad" and the regeneration of Islamist insurgencies and extremist movements in the context of religious and political movements throughout the Muslim world.

The world is now a more dangerous place for Americans, than before 911.

This is not just Prissy's opinion, but that of most terrorism experts, the CIA, U.S. Army War College and many others. In fact, it is the opinion of everyone studying these issues, except neocons...whom would rather sacrifice the entire planet, rather than admit their ideology is skewed...

The Scotsman Allies meet over Iraq deployment

MILITARY officials from Britain, Japan, Australia and the United States were meeting in London today to discuss troop deployments in Iraq as the country slips further towards civil war.

Face it Dubya and friends, your war is OVER...Bring Our Troops HOME or go fight it yourselves.

Ohio has so many problems...let us start with a prime instigator-Kenneth Blackwell. From the Yurica Report Blackwell's Un-American Scheme Under the Guise of "Character and Civic Renewal" Ohio State Foists a Religious Moral Code upon Its Citizens by Katherine Yurica

The 20-Rules to "good" character is titled "UncommonSense"[10] which Blackwell recommends " as a character ethics model for Ohio's business and government leaders." Blackwell invites candidates for office to join him in launching a revolution of character-building in our great state."

Blackwell speaks candidly. It is a revolution in a deceptively pretty package. Hidden in its paragraphs are concepts of submission, obedience, inspection of the personal lives of people, and the loss of personal rights and freedom that would make America's founding fathers stand on their heads in their graves. In short it is a Dominionist document: a religious treatise in secular terms, but dominionist to the core. It's a brilliant little package to get millions of evangelical Christians and their friends to accept authoritarian government without even a whisper of protest.

Blackwell, like most neoRepublicans is far more concerned about the state of his personal bank account than in the state of the state...Remember Blackwell, cheaters never win.

He deludes himself with visions of being president. Perhaps he thinks they will cheat for him all the way to the White House. Good one, Kenny.

The neorepublican party used Ken, he just doesn't want to believe it.

Prissy is positive a much needed subpoena to Kenny, will clarify things for him.

Iraq government warns of risk of "endless civil war" And this is reason 210,987 why Dubya MUST be put out on his butt-IMPEACH HIM...before his kind destroys all human life. From Reuters

"If there is a civil war in this country it will never end," Defense Minister Saadoun al-Dulaimi, a minority Sunni Muslim in the Shi'ite-led interim government, told a news conference.

"We are ready to fill the streets with armored vehicles."

Iraq's 232,000-strong, U.S.-trained security forces have few tanks but U.S. forces, which routinely patrol Baghdad with heavy armor, are also standing by, commanders said. The loyalties of the largely untried new police and Iraqi army could be tested in any clash with militias from which many were recruited.

The Pentagon said in a report on Friday no Iraqi units were able to fight on their own but about 40,000 troops were in battalions able to take the lead in combat with support from U.S. forces, an increase of 50 percent in the past three months.

If the United States continues to refuse to leave occupied Iraq, this country will also suffer and be endangered on a daily basis. More proof neoRepublicans care not what or who they destroy. They are too thick to be aware their money will not save them or this planet from destruction. Their "security methods" can easily make Earth uninhabitable for all of us...

Another suspicious story from Gonzales...3 charged with planning attacks on troops in Iraq

Amawi was charged with downloading a video, "Martyrdom Operation Vest Preparation," on how to make a suicide bomb vest. It said they tried to find and provide various resources and materials requested by the co-conspirators for use in fighting against the U.S. military and coalition forces in Iraq and elsewhere. The resources included money, training, explosives, communications equipment, computers or personnel.

The delegates were a diverse lot. Among them could be counted socially elite planters and merchants, along with lawyers, educators, and farmers. Like all humans, they were driven by complex motives and sought to protect the special interests of their family and class as well as their state and local community. What set them apart was their sense of statesmanship.

Time and again they transcended regional concerns and economic self-interest to compromise for the general good.

Historians have long sought to explain the capacity for growth and understanding that emerged during the Philadelphia meetings. One factor often overlooked, however, is that 23 of the 40 men (to include the secretary of the Convention) who signed the Constitution had served in uniform during the Revolutionary War.

Speaking of rules not followed...VP Accident Tale Filled With Discrepancies

In the rush to assure everyone Whittington was "just fine," some important details were left out.

Initial reports had him treated at the scene, then taken by ambulance to the hospital, where in no time he was cracking jokes with the nurses. It turned out that after being taken to the emergency room of a local, small hospital, he was flown by helicopter to the intensive care unit of the larger hospital in Corpus Christi.

According to Armstrong's initial account of the accident scene: "He was talking. His eyes were open." Later, Cheney said that when he rushed up to the stricken man and talked to him, Whittington had one eye open and did not respond. He was, however, conscious.

From Executive Intel Review- Under Fire for Plame Leak,Cheney Builds NSA Stone Wall

Lyndon LaRouche pointed out that Gonzales was, in effect, "taking the Fifth" in refusing to testify. "Gonzales is refusing to honor his Constitutional obligations to report to the Senate," LaRouche said, "and it's particularly dangerous at this time," pointing to the British-orchestrated confrontation brewing between the United States and Iran.

Continuing the pattern of stonewalling and concealment which has characterized the Administration's dealings with Congress, especially on national security matters, Cheney and his mouthpiece Gonzales were adamant that the full membership of the Senate and House Intelligence Committees could not be briefed on the NSA program. But within 48 hours, the stone wall that Cheney had built began to crumble; the Administration reversed course, and provided briefings to the full committees.

As Prissy has pointed out before, officials appear to be silently invoking the Fifth...

Constant tells how to start the impeachment process state by state-and how there won't be a darn thing the RNC or Congress can do about it.

So let's have it: A State proclamation calling for the House to vote on impeachment; and the voters will have nine months to digest whether they want to change leadership.

At this point, the President is in rebellion. The issue is whether the citizens want to whine, or have a state-level effort to address this issue.

Yes, this entire thing has been through, and there's nothing the RNC can do to stop this. The States are about to force the House to vote, and then congress will have to either assert their oaths, or admit they are in rebellion.

Oh, by the way -- for those who say "this can't happen" you're too late: It's already started. Check Vermont's progress:

From the Washington Post. Why Flemming Rose commissioned tasteless, cartoons Why I Published Those Cartoons (which were not the least bit funny-pp)

By contrast, I commissioned the cartoons in response to several incidents of self-censorship in Europe caused by widening fears and feelings of intimidation in dealing with issues related to Islam. And I still believe that this is a topic that we Europeans must confront, challenging moderate Muslims to speak out. The idea wasn't to provoke gratuitously -- and we certainly didn't intend to trigger violent demonstrations throughout the Muslim world. Our goal was simply to push back self-imposed limits on expression that seemed to be closing in tighter.

Free speech expression is "closing in tighter." Insulting someone's faith which in turn incites riots, is a sure way to grant politicians wishes to restrict them even more. Thanks for nothing, Mr.Rose. Next time, hire a funny guy-not someone who appears not to like Muslims.

From Glenn Greenwald, one of Prissy's favorite blogs. Glenn is a First Amendment lawyer. Hip, hip hurray for Glenn! "The Long Hard Slog"

The Watergate scandal took 2 1/2 years from the time it began until the time Nixon left office because of it in disgrace. The NSA scandal has been with us for 2 months. Watergate resulted in Nixon’s downfall not due to one large smoking gun revelation, nor was it because the country heard about the break-in and then stormed the streets demanding Nixon’s impeachment.

Nixon began that scandal as an immensely popular President - infinitely more popular than the unpopular Bush is now. And when the Watergate scandal began, the mere notion that it could lead to Nixon’s downfall was fantasy. And the scandal unfolded as a slow, grinding process which was the result of tenacious, relentless investigative work and a slow transformation of public opinion. And the Administration fought the investigation every step of the way, doing what they could to obstruct it at every turn.

Glenn gives great details most overlook about Watergate, (from CNN) when they were comparing it to the Clinton impeachment. It was 2 1/2 years from when the investigation began, until Nixon resigned.

Democracy...Be A Part of the Conspiracy to Take Back America

Dearest Readers, Yesterday, you missed a great time here in Columbus. Dubya was in town to peddle more of his snake oil - "health savings accounts"... which can only benefit people who already have large savings accounts at the Wendy's International Corporate Offices. Odd choice, since most of their in store part-timers don't have health benefits...must have been for their white collars.

Remember the days of belligerent Bushies, ranting and raving about how unAmerican those hippie protestors are? Well, no more as we greatly outnumbered them and the police. We think by their silence when we accused them, there must be some truth to the fact pro-Bush people are paid protestors.

It was clear that none of the "We LUV Bush" people were over educated or loaded in cash. Someone much better dressed and polished than these folks, provided some of their printed signs. Did he pass out envelopes to them at the end of their little rally?

Most of the pro-war camp got out of dodge fast, when it was over.

The police preferred side of the street to be pro-war, one anti-war side. We all knew Dubya and his limo would be going by. It was a beautiful sunny central Ohio day-perfect for protesting.

And you know how these things go. The difference between the Bushies and the rest of us, is obvious. All kinds of people oppose Bush-the same kind supports him-miserable, harsh people. Not including the rich, unethical guys at the top who support Dubya.

Black, white, middle class, working class , people dressed like ghouls and people dressed in suits oppose him. However, we all have one thing in common-we want our country back. Despite our differences-we are not afraid to stand united as AMERICANS and tell Bush his policies must stop. We know truth is on our side...

You won't find many original thoughts in the Bushie crowd, like the angry man the police ordered to leave. He said "it was not right for those people to disrespect the President." Guess nobody told him Bush really isn't...(see GAO Election report)

We did feel confident in coming back at any verbal exchanges and setting straight the Bushies at each and every turn. That is, until they tried to tell us there really was weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and they had been found...we knew it wouldn't do any good to talk to people that deluded.

We proceeded to shame and ridicule them amongst ourselves. We were extra loud and obnoxious with our facts. Mentioning that "they are just like the Germans who said they didn't know", and "Jesus was the Prince of Peace" seemed to confuse and hushed the Bushies immediately.

The highlight was when one of us said "Hurry, Look busy...Massah Boosh is comin'!" An adorable African American lady in our large group said loudly, in the best imitation of Mammie since Gone With the Wind, "Oh, Lordy! Is it Massah Geooooorge comin'?"

The Bushies were silenced as they watched the rest of us, including the cops nearly double over with laughter...Democracy in it's purest form is even fun. We embrace each others differences, especially the silly ones.

Prissy bets, as Dubya's security people drove past to tape us, Dubya saw more flipping "birds" in Columbus, than Dick saw in Texas...

Afterwards, several Bushies came over to ask questions of the Veterans protesting Bush. Prissy hears they parted on good terms and Bush lost more support as a result of protestors (Veterans, especially) kindly setting these lost lambs straight.

Speaking of lambs, pointing at the Bushies, and saying "Look at the sheeple, look at the sheeple" - with Prissy and friends crying out at them "Bhah-bhah" repeatedly, was not nice. But it sure was funny...

The story of the Veteran's Administration nurse investigated for sedition of King George... VA Nurse Investigated for “Sedition” for Criticizing Bush

Laura Berg is a clinical nurse specialist at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, where she has worked for 15 years.

Shortly after Katrina, she wrote a letter to the editor of the weekly paper the Alibi criticizing the Bush Administration.

After the paper published the letter in its September 15-21 issue, VA administrators seized her computer, alleged that she had written the letter on that computer, and accused her of “sedition.”

Did the good nurse threaten someone? Threaten Dubya with a coup d'état ? Burn down the White House and start her own government? No. She said:

“Bush, Cheney, Chertoff, Brown, and Rice should be tried for criminal negligence,” she wrote. “This country needs to get out of Iraq now and return to our original vision and priorities of caring for land and people and resources rather than killing for oil. . . . We need to wake up and get real here, and act forcefully to remove a government administration playing games of smoke and mirrors and vicious deceit.

There are no sedition laws! If you find some have been snuck in someplace, please contact Prissy! Sounds like Chickenhawks playing chicken with a nurse who has "witnessed their handiwork". May they need a nurse someday...

The SBS images included photos of a bloodied cellblock and the corpse of a man the network said was killed during a CIA interrogation. But who ordered the lower level soldiers to do it? Remains an unanswered question.

An update on this story...Domestic Spying & Incident of Intimidation of Military Families: Letter from a Military Mom During the first few months of our site, the Army decided to call every single family on the site, informing them, that the site was not to be used by any of the families. The Department of Defense, called families in the middle of the night to notify them to not use the web site. Most of the families were near tears, thinking they were getting "THE" call telling them their child or loved one had been killed or injured.

Prissy received this email from military mom in the above article: To update you on our situation of Intimidation of Military Families.

We are working with a team of constitutional lawyers; (1st Amendment Foundation, Military Law Task Force, and two private attorneys ) finishing up the investigative process; and finalizing the draft of complaint to file at the end of this month.

This phase although tedious, is quite necessary in gathering and compiling the information to move forward.

Prissy will continue to keep you posted on this case of intimidation of military families believed to have originated by the Pentagon itself...

Glad to see someone is screaming to finally close Gitmo.

It is a source of major embarrassment for most of us humanbeings, that we have so many unthinking fellow Americans who rarely think about Gitmo. Why did the call have to come from the United Nations?

Oh wait, it DIDN'T first come from the UN-it was the darn Jack Murtha going around telling the truth. A year and one half, ago.

Ohio Dems St. Valentine's Day Massacre

An angry Prissy on Valentine's Day...

Dearest Readers, Ohio Democrat "Leaders" have pushed and pressured their way to keep Iraq Marine Veteran and lawyer Paul Hackett from running in the Senate race on the Democrat ticket.

The DNC Ohio could care less what We the People want and this is more proof they do not listen. They continue in lock-step with the Republicans.

The people wanted Hackett-his following flowed past state borders-and the DNC knows it. His democrat opponent, Sharrod Brown, is a long time politician.

Prissy is not saying Brown is a bad guy, no-he voted against the war. However, it isn't like he has raised any cane about it or any other issue, since then. He has had plenty of time to do this. Hackett was the people's choice-not the DNCs.

Shame upon the DNC/DLC for once again ignoring the voice of the people. Al Gore, Prissy begs of you- Start a NEW PARTY! This country is ready for it. You are one of the leaders for the job.

The Prissy Patriot EXCLUSIVE! Memo from Ohio DNC to Paul Hackett. (Of course Prissy made it up)

From: Ohio Democratic National Committee

Date: February 14, 2006

RE: Why You Gotta Go

Dear Mr. Hackett,

Welcome to the Ohio Democratic party. We wish to take the time to let you know that we think you will make an excellent representative in the House 2nd District.

This memo serves to inform you that should you continue to abuse your popularity with the people in this great state of Ohio, the consequences will be severe. People are beginning to realize we walk in lock-step with our republican brothers and we feel your mere presence alerts people that you are not "one of us."

We don't think, just because you served a year in Iraq as a Marine and your back ground as a lawyer and small business owner in the southern part of the state this qualifies you to work in the Senate or for the people of Ohio.

We feel your popularity should be reserved to a smaller portion of the state, as you seem unwilling to adhere to unstated, unsaid and possibly the illegal, immoral positions we as the ODNC have always taken in the past.

We fear, given the chance, someone such as yourself could cause the American people to demand an end to the war in Iraq. Unlike you, we have investments in the war that should not be disrupted. We also prefer candidates who will be perceived as weak on national defense issues. Obviously, Mr. Hackett, you are not that person.

Our current DNC is set up to work in tandem with our corrupt republican counterparts and your entrance would once again, interfere with long term goals and possibly with projects which have already materialized.

We will not waste much more of your time, Mr. Hackett (we prefer to remind you of your civilian status) but to put this in the words of our leader, G.W. Bush "Hackett, we just don't like yer kind".

Sincerely,

The Ohio Democratic National Committee (we do not need to sign this memo as individuals)

PS- Don't come looking to us for any ca$h either. Our job, should you insist on doing the will of the people- is to make sure you don't get a dime. You don't play? We don't pay.

As if the Hackett thing isn't enough to make your day...The Pentagon's War on the Internet

The Defense Dept. places a high-value on controlling information. The new program illustrates their determination to establish the parameters of free speech

If we don't have free speech, we don't have anything. If you want to live in a free society, start gearing up now for the Iraq War's 3rd Anniversary. Columbus, Ohio will be having the mother of all protests. Get over your tizzy fit neoRepublicans, we are coordinating the event with the police. Anyone with potential semi-violent actions will be tossed out immediately. This is an event for everyone-and everyone deserves to feel safe and free or this isn't America- and you would be there for the wrong reason.

Bring the children, this event will be bringing thousands from all corners of the state. Saturday, March 18, 2006. At the Ohio Statehouse. Military Families will be leading the parade march from Veteran's Square Plaza. Look for more event updates here, including links to other supporting organizations sponsoring this event. Bring signs, bring musical instruments, if you play. Children with morrocco's encouraged!

The youth organizations who are part of the event planning, do not want this to be their father's Vietnam protest. This will be people coming together for common causes in a peaceful manner. Think music and food-and a few poignant speeches, not chants and confrontations...

More this evening. Prissy has much to do-like write the ODNC. I urge you to do the same! Dick Cheney and his latest victim...

"He is a lawyer and he got shot in the face. But he's a lawyer, he can use his other face. He'll be all right."

"You can understand why this lawyer fellow let his guard down, because if you're out hunting with a politician, you think, 'If I'm going to get it, it's going to be in the back.' "

"The big scandal apparently is that they didn't release the news for 18 hours. I don't think that's a scandal at all. I'm quite pleased about that. Finally there's a secret the vice president's office can keep."

"Apparently the reason they didn't release the information right away is they said we had to get the facts right. That's never stopped them in the past."

Quotes of the Day...from Watergate

"As President Nixon says, presidents can do almost anything, and President Nixon has done many things that nobody would have thought of doing." ~Golda Meir

"The President seems to extend executive privilege way out past the atmosphere. What he says is executive privilege is nothing but executive poppycock." ~Sam Ervin

"This is, I say, the time for all good men not to go to the aid of their party, but to come to the aid of their country." ~Eugene McCarthy

Wasn't this the same defense used by Dubya and Gonzales? "When the president does it, that means it is not illegal." ~Richard Milhous Nixon

"The genius of impeachment lay in the fact that it could punish the man without punishing the office." ~Arthur Schlesinger, Jr.

One from mAnn Coulter-who becomes more shrill and loony by the day...."We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee. That's just a joke, for you in the media." --Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, who should either be looking for a good Criminal defense lawyer or a new career.

Prissy heard... Ann Coulter is actually a former drag queen from Key West named Pudenda Shenanigans. Ms. Shenanigans was famous for her renditions of “Dude Looks Like a Lady” “I Will Survive” and “You Shook Me All Night Long” as well as an extensive Barbra Streisand repertoire.

And from Alberto, the genius who said he thinks the Constitution gives Dubya the right to do whatever he wants... "President Washington, President Lincoln, President Wilson, President Roosevelt have all authorized electronic surveillance on a far broader scale." —Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, testifying before Congress
