New Week, New Indictments?

Now Rummy, this is what Prissy has said all along. Finally we agree on something-terrorism is indeed a law enforcement issue. So at what point did it become war, in your neocon mind? Only a few hundred people know for sure...

It will not make things better for Dubya in the African-American community, however. His handlers cannot really believe folks will buy that one...

time.com/time/magazine/printout/0,8816,1124238,00.html From Time:A Time To Regroup-Bloodied by scandal, setbacks and casualties, Bush is looking for fresh troops and a new battle plan

History is certainly not on Bush's side. Since 1966, if a President's approval rating dipped below 50% at a midterm election, his party lost an average of 42 seats in the House;which next year would be enough to put the Democrats back in power.

Still, optimists at the White House have reached the point that they are taking comfort from the example of Clinton, who came back strong after his party's shellacking in the 1994 elections and wound up popular despite his own, very different set of scandals. Next thing you know, Bush will be calling himself the Comeback Kid.

“Comeback Kid”. Prissy says they are dreaming if they think Americans will swallow that one... Dubya is no Bubba. Bubba caused none of the troubles Dubya has caused to average Americans. Sure he was a hound and did he ever make other mistakes , but what did that have to do with security and safety of the American people as a whole?

Dubya and his people are a threat to national security. They created more terror risk rather than reducing that risk. At least that is the conclusion of the CIA. If they aren't the experts in that kind of thing, why do we have them?

One thing that really bothers Prissy about the neocons is how they disregard experts. Yet they are no experts themselves, as they have proven. One of the charges Patrick Fitzgerald makes about Libby was that he put us all at risk with his neocon "ways"...

Presidents rating at 39%, its lowest mark, and consistent with other national surveys. The poll, conducted Friday night and yesterday, found that 55% of the public believes the Libby case indicates wider problems "with ethical wrongdoing" in the White House, while 41 percent believes it was an "isolated incident." And by a 3 to 1 ratio, Americans say the level of honesty has fallen under Bush. "Barely a third of Americans -- 34% -- think Bush is doing a good job ensuring high ethics in government, is slightly lower than Clinton's standing on this issue when he left office," the Post observed. Most Americans consider the charges against Libby to be serious.

They still love to blame Bubba for everything, yet they have proved he actually had better morals while President. Not that it counted for much. Sorry this isn't new news to you, dear readers...but its now all the msm can talk about.

benfrank.net/blog/2005/10/27/oil_mafia_treason Treason, 911 and the Bush Administration-On BenFrank

By Col. Robert Bowman:

As other speakers have said, they knew the American people wouldn't stand for it, and they said so in their documents, and they said, unless there's that new Pearl Harbor. Well 9/11 did supply that. And we've been lied to not only about the war, but about 9/11 itself.

The Bush administration was warned. They were warned by the Clinton Administration during the transition period, they were warned by the intelligence agencies of eleven other nations, they were specifically warned by one FBI agent that Moussawi was planning on flying a hijacked airliner, into the World Trade Center. They ignored the warnings, more than that, we have mounting evidence that _at least_, they made it impossible for those se planes to be intercepted.

If the government had merely done nothing - and I say that as an old interceptor pilot and I know the drill, I know what it takes, I know how long it takes, I know what the procedures are, I know what they were and I know what they changed them to. If our government - if our government had merely done nothing and allowed normal procedures to happen on that morning of 9/11, the twin towers would still be standing and thousands of Americans would still be alive. My sisters and brothers, that is treason!

Dr. Robert Bowman was a Col. in the USAF and Chief of Technology Assessment under President Jimmy Carter and is a Catholic Bishop of The Apostolic Society of Franciscan Communities. Web site: www.rmbowman.com. He has been President of the Institute for Space and Security Studies since 1982. Before that he was Vice-President of Space Communications Company; Manager, Advanced Space Programs for General Dynamics; and Director, Advanced Space Programs Development for DoD, directing the Star Wars programs.

From the Memoirs George Bush (41):

"Trying to eliminate Saddam would have incurred incalculable human and political costs. Apprehending him was probably impossible. We would have been forced to occupy Baghdad and, in effect, rule Iraq. There was no viable exit strategy we could see, violating another of our principles. Furthermore, we had been self-consciously trying to set a pattern for handling aggression in the post-Cold War world. Going in and occupying Iraq, thus unilaterally exceeding the United Nations mandate, would have destroyed the precedent of international response to aggression that we hoped to establish. Had we gone the invasion route, the United States could conceivably still be an occupying power in a bitterly hostile land."

Dubya never did listen to his father. Apparently he was born knowing more than Senior...Dear Mr. Bush, Prissys' own Papa Americana- to this day, would not let her get away with what you have allowed your son to do to this country. (Not that she would try) So why do you? More importantly, as an American who has prospered greatly from this country, how could you? Some would call that aiding and abetting. What a bunch of phony patriots.

More tomorrow...The Prissy Patriot seems to be having technical difficulties publishing today.
