It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Fitzmas....Libby INDICTED

Is it Fitzmas Eve? Libby Indicted On Five Counts, So Far...

Hot Links

FIVE COUNT INDICTMENT OF LIBBY! False Statements, Obstruction of Justice amongst others-Rove may STILL be indicted. Fitzgerald talks about threat to national security on page two. They knew better-this is America-did they forget? Looks like even the msm is saying the Bush administration "may have" lied us into a war...A little slow, aren't they.

The Link to the indictments and Prosecutor statement about the charges. Scooter resigns-Cheney writes a letter to the press saying Scooter is innocent until proven guilty. He didn't mention how much it took just to get the charges this far... Interesting charges for a former criminal defense lawyer...

One important thing note: Grand Juries are secret and cannot talk. Prosecutors and investigators cannot tell about their ongoing case. Witnesses can "hold a press conference on the court house steps after they testify , if they wish." Most of Prissy's news has been from witnesses to this case. Keep that in mind in your own analysis...

Prissy wants to know...who told Novak?

From Yahoo:

The grand jury indictment charged Libby, 55, with one count of obstruction of justice, two of perjury and two false statement counts. If convicted on all five, he could face as much as 30 years in prison and $1.25 million in fines. The charges stem from a two-year investigation by special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald into whether Rove, Libby or any other administration officials knowingly revealed the identity of CIA officer Valerie Plame or lied about their involvement to investigators.

Libby is accused of lying about how and when he learned about Plame's identity in 2003 and told reporters about it. The information on the officer was classified. He is also accused of lying when he told Fitzgerald's investigators that he learned about Plame's CIA status from Tim Russert of NBC. He learned it from several government sources, including Cheney, the indictment says. Any trial would dig into the secret deliberations of Bush and his team as they built the case for war against Iraq.

More about Niger documents.NIGERGATE: Forged Italian Documents on Niger Uranium Sent GIs to War-Bellcaio- bellaciao.org/en/article.php3?id_article=8968

As this story is developing, there will be some overlap and synergies between the investigations of US attorney Paul McNulty’s grand jury in Eastern Virginia and US Attorney Patrick Figzgerald’s grand jury in Washington, DC. Fitzgerald is concentrating on Plamegate, the outing by Karl Rove and others of Valerie Plame Wilson in revenge for her husband exposing the tricks of Nigergate (forged Niger documents on uranium and Iraq).

At Michael Ledeen’s (Karl Rove’s foreign policy advisor) meeting with Italian intelligence in December 2001, to procure evidence against Iraq as an excuse for war, was Larry Franklin, whom McNulty got indicted for collaboration with Israeli agents.

The FBI caught Franklin, 58 -- a Pentagon analyst on Iran and an Air Force Reserve colonel -- meeting two agents of AIPAC, Israel’s US "lobby," in an Alexandria, VA, restaurant in June 2003. AIPAC employees -- including now-charged AIPAC agents at the meeting, Steven Rosen and Keith Weissman -- had been under FBI surveillance for a couple of years. The FBI was surprised by Franklin showing up and began investigating him, too. The FBI arrested Franklin, on May 4, 2005, for illegally disclosing highly classified information to AIPAC -- spying for AIPAC, in other words. He is free on bond and is expected to plead innocent at his trial.

The McNulty grand jury is the one that indicted Franklin and is covering territory that approximates that of the Downing Street Memos. McNulty is concentrating on collaboration between Israel and US officials who incited the Iraq war. As we see, there are a few European governments that appear to have manipulated US policy to the same end.

Before the Rosen and Weissman indictments, we wondered why no one at AIPAC had been charged in the Israeli-spying case besides Franklin. Did someone in the Bush administration obstruct justice by trying to prevent the two latest, and possibly more, indictments?

www.informationclearinghouse.info/article10800.htm I cannot live freely in a country where people are allowed to commit murder by Cindy Sheehan

First of all, I was followed all morning by the Park Police. I guess because I am a very dangerous subversive. I would never hurt a flea, but what I am dangerous to is the lies and corruption of our government.

Secondly, Juan, Beatriz Saldivar, and Julie Cuniglio who have all had loved ones killed in this war had brought pictures of their dead loved ones with them to Arlington. We were told by the administration of the cemetery that they couldn't take the pictures into the cemetery because they were "political statements!!" We were stunned that pictures of our children that have been killed for lies and betrayals and for purely political reasons can't be shown in a cemetery that supposedly honors those who have served, some making the ultimate sacrifice in war. We are living in a state that kills our children then calls them political statements. That speaks volumes to the chicken hawks who we are allowing to ruin our country.

Yahoo News- White House Fears Indictment for Libby news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051028/ap_on_go_pr_wh/cia_leak_investigation;_ylt=ArR1gC9lGrmrySHF3wbCZY6s0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTA2Z2szazkxBHNlYwN0bQ--

White House officials braced for the possibility that Vice President Dick Cheney's top aide would be indicted in the CIA leak case, but held out hope presidential confidant Karl Rove might escape charges for the time being.

Why should he escape when his dirty mind is responsible for so much of this mess? And they love to talk about how they were elected on "values"...Oh, do spare Prissy and her readers that drivel. whatreallyhappened.com/osamabinladen_wmc.html Osama bin Laden: A Weapon of Mass Convenience <P>On March 1 4, 2002 Bush says bin Laden no Threat "We haven't heard from him in a long time," Bush told reporters at the White House. "I truly am not that concerned about him."

This is the fool tells us, "Stay the failing course.” Why does he continue to lie to the American and Iraqi people when it is clear neither side supports his war...A soldier told Prissy they were changing the name of "Operation Iraqi Freedom" to "Operation Iraqi Liberation". That way they can come home and say they fought for "O.I.L." Prissy hopes they keep their sense of humor...she promises to help with screaming for their benefits in D.C. Those politicians will rue the day Prissy comes calling to get our Veterans what they need and deserve.

Let us point out that there has NEVER been a time Republicans have supported Veterans benefits-only the war. They have a history of cutting Veterans benefits. Do they simply forget our soldiers when the wars are over? Prissy says "No Sirs, not this time." thehill.com/thehill/export/TheHill/News/Frontpage/102705/news1.html

Miers is put on notice By Jonathan Allen <P>The legal legitimacy of the Iraq war and the rights of American-held detainees are likely to play a prominent role in the confirmation hearings of Harriet Miers, President Bush’s embattled nominee to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court. And...

"What assurances can you give the Senate and the American people that you will be independent, if confirmed, and not give President Bush any special deference on any matter involving him which might come before the court?" Specter wrote.

Alrighty then...any questions regarding her withdraw? Prissy did not think so...and by the way, Prissy votes as an Independent who used to lean Republican. Used to...until they started supporting outrageous lies and calling themselves Christians while doing it.

SUPPORT HR 505 TO DEMAND THE IRAQ WAR COOKED DOCUMENTS

Dennis Kucinich has put forward a resolution of inquiry to demand access by Congress to all documents from the notorious White House Iraq Group, who rigged the case for war against Iraq. Just today, we learn that Libby and Cheney, already implicated in the CIA leak treason scandal, were responsible for withholding evidence of their malfeasance in doctoring up the Powell U.N. speech from a previous Senate panel investigating the perversion of pre-invasion intelligence. With now more than 2,000 of our brave service people dead, it's time we finally got to the bottom of how we were all lied into this war in the first place. This Knight Ridder piece written by Jonathan Landay is being picked up by numerous papers:

A Knight Ridder review of the administration's arguments, its own reporting at the time and the Senate Intelligence Committee's 2004 report shows that the White House followed a pattern of using questionable intelligence, even documents that turned out to be forgeries, to support its case - often leaking classified information to receptive journalists - and dismissing information that undermined the case for war. The State of the Union speech was one of a number of instances in which Bush, Vice

President Dick Cheney and their aides ignored the qualms of intelligence professionals and instead relied on the claims of Iraqi defectors and other suspect sources or, in the case of Niger, the crudely forged documents. There isn't anything new in this for avid newshounds. But it's significant that stories like this are appearing in papers and on television screens around the country, with this wording, and now closely coupled to a criminal investigation of White House figures and the actions they took to shore up forged and previously dismissed intelligence.

Fitzmas is pleasant indeed. We can be thankful for his investigation being committed to justice. These are very serious crimes and go against everything America is supposed to stand for. Fitzgerald (though still unconfirmed) has said to be gathering another Grand Jury to look into potential crimes of 911. There is too much evidence to ignore.
