The Democrats Order of Prissyballs Has Arrived...

Indeed, that Harry Reid. MSM tells the truth!

GOP furious at closed Senate session Minority leader finishes unusual secret meeting about prewar intelligence msnbc.msn.com/id/9886959/

“They have repeatedly chosen to protect the Republican administration rather than get to the bottom of what happened and why,” Democratic leader Harry Reid said.

Taken by surprise, Republicans derided the move as a political stunt.

Listen up GOP, the jig is up...put the koolaid away-it's time to sober up. Your power trip is over. How the neoRepublicans misused that power is beyond the bounds of common decency, let alone the bounds of a democratic society. Finally, they have been shamed. Will they accept their punishment or lie until the end? Whichever, as the end is near.

ISMI in Iraq: A Matter of Belligerence~ This series by Bonini and D'Avanzo is damning of Berlusconi, who violates Italy's post-war Constitution for a role in the invasion of Iraq.

Part II: Rome knew in early 2003 that Saddam possessed no WMDs.

Italian intelligence knew that Iraq had no unconventional weapons. With its intelligence team already on the ground, Italy enters the war.

ROME: The terrace of the Hotel Eden in via Ludovisi is flooded with sunlight. The SISMI official narrates the story of secret operations conducted on the ground in Iraq on the eve of war by a team of twenty SISMI agents from three agency departments: Military Intelligence, Operations and Counterterrorism. When we began to enter into contact with Iraqi generals, regular army officers and Ba’ath officials to invite them to defect, we were dealing with desperate men. They were prepared to bargain away their wealth of information in exchange for their physical and political survival after the war. We were able to pass on the intelligence they gave us in realtime which turned out to be decisive in the theater of operations. Just to give you an example, we were working the night before the invasion—or rather, at dawn--when the smart bombs and Tomahawk missiles began to rain down on Baghdad at around 5:30 am on March 20th.

Allied Command expected an immediate reply, which would have been normal. But the Italians were already on the ground with “eyes” to take things in. Our sources are inside Saddam’s General Staff and they tell us that missile batteries around Basrah have been activated. Saddam intended to strike Kuwait City. But the batteries were put out of commission. In places where Italian intelligence has no reach, sources inside the Shi’ite network are at work—which helps us greatly. Our SISMI man become very serious and swells with pride as if he wants to ensure that we are paying attention.

baltimorechronicle.com/2005/102805Tully.shtml Baltimore Chronicle- COMMENTARY: ALL THE PRESIDENT’S MEN

The war in Iraq has been executed with such nearsightedness that there is still a lack of adequate equipment for our troops on the ground. Families of soldiers are forced to send night-vision goggles and boots to their children, while taxpayer-paid mercenaries and private contractors from companies like CACI make four times as much as the enlisted man. Meanwhile, Halliburton’s Kellogg Brown and Root and American oil companies are reaping windfall profits while heating-oil bills double for that widow in Detroit. Up on Capitol Hill, the Republican Senate leader Bill Frist is in serious legal trouble and House leader Tom Delay has now stepped down after being indicted in Texas—twice. The chief procurement official for the entire federal government has just been frog-marched from his office in handcuffs for lying and obstructing an investigation of corrupt Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff. During a so-called War on Terrorism the Federal Emergency Management Agency chief gets his important job because he is a buddy of the old chief. The criminalization of politics?

These guys and gals make ordinary criminals feel squeamish.

Prissy can say most criminals don't get away with so many crimes without doing a little time...especially if they may be felony murderers.

World Can't Wait...Campaign to drive out the Bush Regime. Protests all over the world. worldcantwait.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=19

November 2, the first anniversary of Bush's "re-election", we will take the first major step in this by organizing a truly massive day of resistance all over this country. People everywhere will walk out of school, they will take off work, they will come to the downtowns and town squares and set out from there, going through the streets and calling on many more to JOIN US. They will repudiate this criminal regime, making a powerful statement: "NO! THIS REGIME DOES NOT REPRESENT US! AND WE WILL DRIVE IT OUT!"

November 2 must be a massive and public proclamation that WE REFUSE TO BE RULED IN THIS WAY. November 2 must call out to the tens of millions more who are now agonizing and disgusted. November 2 will be the beginning -- a giant first step in forcing the Bush regime to step down, and a powerful announcement that we will not stop until he does so -- and it will join with and give support and heart to people all over the globe who so urgently need and want this regime to be stopped.

Berlusconi: I tried to talk Bush out of invading Iraq news.independent.co.uk/europe/article323478.ece

Marco Rizzo, a Communist MEP, said: "Berlusconi the pacifist? ... He wants the wine bottle full, the wife drunk and the money in his wallet ... Berlusconi has made his choice. His reconsideration, on the eve of the election, is a case of crocodile tears."

The controversy drew further attention to claims made in La Repubblica, the Roman daily, this week that Italian military intelligence had fabricated documentary "proof" that Saddam Hussein purchased uranium from Niger - a claim, cited by President Bush in the run-up to war, which was a vital plank in the charge that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction.

The Italian government has denied the claims in La Repubblica, but was forced to admit that Nicolo Pollari, head of Sismi, the Italian military intelligence, met Stephen Hadley, assistant to President Bush for National Security Affairs, on 9 September 2002, shortly before the file on Niger's alleged uranium deal with Iraq was made public.

Hmm...when we find out where the forged documents came from, Prissy believes that will bring this whole situation into technicolor focus. (like who did what crime) As Citizen Spook pointed out, a death which happens in the course of committing a felony (like lying to start a war and - then soldiers and civilians die) is felony murder.

Perpetrators would be charged with a state crime, not a federal crime. Spook reminds us that is 50 shots at justice being served.

lewrockwell.com/roberts/roberts130.html Libby’s Indictment: Counterrevolution-by Paul Craig Roberts

By creating false documents and false threats, the neoconservatives pushed the US into an invasion of Iraq as the opening step in their plan for a wider war that would remake the Middle East.

Libby lied to the grand jury in order to protect this conspiracy.

Fitzgerald has stated that his investigations are not over. There are indications that Fitzgerald is aware that more is involved than the blown cover of Valerie Plame’s CIA counter-proliferation operation. Fitzgerald is on the trail of the conspirators who have committed high treason by taking America to war on false pretenses.

Facing 30 years in prison, will Libby talk in exchange for a lighter sentence? Will members of the cabal come forward to save themselves before other members of the conspiracy seize the opportunity to turn state’s witness?

Now that there is blood in the water, media executives will not be able to continue to muzzle reporters. Democrats might find some backbone. Republicans might realize that they are facing a far worse crisis than Watergate.

Will the unindicted co-conspirators at Fox News, the Weekly Standard, National Review, the Wall Street Journal editorial page, the New York Post, and the Washington Times learn the Judith Miller lesson, or will they continue to serve the conspiracy that hijacked US foreign policy and deceived the country and, perhaps, President Bush himself?

Will neoconservative strongholds such as the American Enterprise Institute, the Hoover Institution, and the Heritage Foundation continue to back the agenda of a cabal that deceived our country into a disastrous war of aggression?

Unless America has lost its soul, Libby’s indictment is the first step in the unravelling of a criminal conspiracy of high treason. Fitzgerald’s continuing investigation could serve as the counter-revolution that overthrows the neo-Jacobin coup engineered by the neoconservative cabal.

Dr. Roberts is an American hero-PP
