Prissy is leaving this up for a while, as it is quite popular...Is Dubya Drinking Again?

This is also rather outrageous-- please do not watch if you would be offended to see Dubya portrayed this way. (Click on center arrow to start clip) Our neighbors have slowed this down for a Saturday Night Live type skit, this is a satire.

Chickenhawk n. A person enthusiastic about war, provided someone else fights it; particularly when that enthusiasm is undimmed by personal experience with war; most emphatically when that lack of experience came in spite of ample opportunity in that person's youth.

Get your list of Chickenhawks right here-see which pundits, preachers and politicians never served. Prissy knows who they are and you should too. Pass this list it explains so much about this war. See-MILITARY SERVICE RECORDS toward center of that page.

The families of those who died are being told that on Aug. 1, six Marine snipers from the 3/25 were killed, and it appears they were set up and ambushed.

Two days later, 14 Marines from the 3/25 were sent to arrest the insurgents who killed the snipers, but their vehicle was blown up, killing all of them.

It now appears that they also may have been set up.

Heroes lives should never be wasted.

Bring our soldiers home and stop lying to military families. How much more do "representatives" think we will take? Military families, and friends of military families have had enough.

If this war doesn't end soon, Prissy can assure them should they continue to "stand down" on American soldiers, their careers will end- just before the war does... Media Matters-January 3, 2006-Media conservatives cited faulty poll to claim popular support for domestic spying program

Summary: Conservative media figures have defended the Bush administration's warrantless domestic surveillance program by citing a Rasmussen poll saying 64 percent of Americans believe "the National Security Agency [should] be allowed to intercept telephone conversations between terrorism suspects in other countries and people living in the United States." But the key issue, which the poll misrepresents, is not whether surveillance of terrorism suspects should take place at all -- something about which there is little controversy -- but whether President Bush violated the law by approving warrantless searches of domestic phone and email communications. Democracy Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006-National Security Agency Whistleblower Warns Domestic Spying Program Is Sign the U.S. is Decaying Into a Police State-

Former NSA intelligence agent Russell Tice condemns reports that the Agency has been engaged in eavesdropping on U.S. citizens without court warrants. Tice has volunteered to testify before Congress about illegal black ops programs at the NSA. Tice said, "The freedom of the American people cannot be protected when our constitutional liberties are ignored and our nation has decayed into a police state."

Think nothing of it-sure-NSA guys come out from the shadows and testify everyday...the millionth disgruntled employee? Pleas of sanity and the Constitution, in Prissy's view, are what the NSA asks us to consider...

K Street Croupiers-

How Two of Tom DeLay's Players Beat the House at the Grand Coushatta Casino

On May 9, 2001, Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff did President George W. Bush a small favor by directing a modest sum of money to Grover Norquist. Norquist was bringing a group of Republican state legislators to the White House to sell them Bush's proposed tax cuts. He decided to use the event to make a little money for his organization, Americans for Tax Reform. So he had Abramoff ask two of his American Indian clients for $25,000 each for the privilege of meeting the president. This money ATR raised at the White House three years ago is a small part of a big scandal involving Abramoff, his partner Mike Scanlon, six Indian tribes, $66 million in questionable lobbying fees, and millions of dollars in political contributions.

Also entangled in the scandal is House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, whose Washington network was offered to Indian casino clients by Abramoff and Scanlon, if the tribes would hire them.

Article below by Cindy Sheehan- the military mom who got the ball rolling on the Bush cabal. How could there ever be any doubt her son would be anything but proud of this former stay-at-home mom. Cindy is simply practicing what she preached when raising her children, for heavens sake!

During my visit to Europe, I was invited to other countries as a peace emissary. People in Italy and Australia are particularly anxious to have me visit, because their governments are accomplices to BushCo in Iraq. I will be speaking to the European Union Parliament twice in 2006 to urge them to pressure our administration to stop its killing policies in Iraq and try something new: diplomacy and peace. Heads up, Condi: peace is NOT spread by killing and war.

Although, our visits to the various governmental officials in Europe did not have an immediate effect, perhaps seeds were planted. The international peace community is energized and refocused. However, by just meeting with me, the officials of each country are showing a minor tear in the fabric of support with the illegitimate residents of the "Casa Blanca." Each little sign gives hope.

As Dermot Ahern told me: It's going to get back to Washington that I met with you. They won't be happy. But I don't care. It was the right thing to do."

Indeed, just as speaking out against a war which misused so many lives is the right thing to do. History will judge harshly those

who knew, yet remained silent.

What the Abramoff scandal is about at the core can be simply stated as: Vegas without rules. And what the politicians are arguing over is the biggest slush fund in the history of the world. Democrats don't want to eliminate it. They just want in on the action.

News Flash! Corporate sponsored media remembers they are Americans...prints real news Surveillance Court Is Seeking Answers-Judges Were Unaware of Eavesdropping-January 5,2006

Yesterday, Rep. Jane Harman (Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the House intelligence committee, sent a letter to Bush charging that the limited nature of congressional briefings on the monitoring program violated the National Security Act. The White House informed the chairmen of the House and Senate intelligence oversight committees and the two ranking Democrats about the program.

The National Security Act requires the president to keep all members of the two committees fully informed of intelligence activities with the exception of those conducted covertly overseas. "In my view, failure to provide briefings to the full congressional intelligence committees is a continuing violation of the National Security Act," Harman wrote. Op Ed News-January 3, 2006-12 Political Insights: A Starter-Kit for 2006

Bush&Co.'s scandals are coming so rapidly and getting so huge that it's hard to lay off talking about them at length, but in this new year, let's step back a bit for some longer-range perspectives.

In no particular order, here from decades of politics-watching are a dozen bits of insight, most of which were reinforced by events in year 2005. Below each is some discussion of how those truisms flowered in the Bush era.

Indeed, they list the sins...

Impeach Bush Coalition-

From Capital Hill Blue-(Thompson has a reputation for telling unvarnished truth, no matter how painful-Prissy admires that) Bush's drinking and drug use must be investigated-By DOUG THOMPSON-Jan 3, 2006

Thompson, a sober alcoholic for 11 years points out this about Dubya's behavior:

* Blacking out while watching television alone;

* Slurred speech and stammering responses to simple questions;

* Anger and hostility in front of staff members;

* Unexplained bruises on his face;

* Trouble remembering recent events or comments.

But my instincts tell me he is doing both alcohol and drugs and I believe as both a journalist and a recovering alcoholic that he needs to prove to Americans that he is not attempting to govern while under the influence.

Indeed, short of the president being a victim of domestic violence, it would also go a long way to explain the facial cuts and bruises over the past year...our Constitution allows for the removal of a president for "health reasons."
