Ding Dong, the Warmongers Will Soon Be Gone!

Well, well Dick finally got a taste of his own medicine.

Didn't have a comeback about those five deferments during Vietnam, did you Dick?

Dick shouldn't have even tried to tell a Congressman Murtha, a 37-year career Marine, as well as a Vietnam and Korean War decorated Veteran- that he thought he knew how to fight...It was clear, even to a Prissy Patriot, that a sissy boy like Dick does not have what it takes to win a schoolyard fight-let alone a war. How does one win an illegal war anyway? What does a winning an illegal war look like?

A guy like Dick cannot even begin to understand the debt 58,000 soldiers and their families paid, nor millions of Vietnamese. Five deferments...how many decent Americans died in his place? Please let Fitzmas be on it's way...

It is about time some of these politicians remembered they were once a soldier. They were never supposed to forget about the ones who did not made it back. Or the ones still haunted by a war that will not leave their minds, who will never function as they did before that war.

The fellow who may have been just as funny, just as smart as they-but who never got their chance to shine. Gone too soon, some killed or damaged beyond repair by another war...A war led by other Chickenhawks that didn't care about our soldiers then, either.

So much for supporting the troops and other lessons not learned from Vietnam.

UPDATE:

Referring to those who refuse to pull the troops out of Iraq and why the pressure for withdrawl will only increase... "I think this is the real reason feminism was created- women had no choice but to stand up to men when they act like cowards on moral issues. This is certainly one of those times." ~Military Mom

CNN Quick Poll captured by RAW Story-Already yanked by CNN for the more generic- Is it time for the troops do be withdrawn? 210,000+ votes almost 70% said YES.

Politicians take heed, the writing is on the wall. Stop playing politics with peoples lives; give the Iraqis their country back, bring our troops home now.

From the UK Guardian- This doesn't bode well for Blair or Bush-it's effects will ripple over to this side of the ocean...these parents are a sister organization to those here in the US. Maybe politicians will be more careful in the future before they decide to kill off people's children so they can make some fast cash. Peace Mom Cindy Sheehan will be back in Crawford for Thanksgiving. More about Cindy in the Sunday edition of The Prissy Patriot... www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,3604,1645354,00.html Let the Iraq families speak- The relatives of soldiers who have died must get their chance to argue for an independent inquiry

The families' anger is triggered by the revelation of the full advice of the attorney general of March 7 2003. Far from being unequivocal, it is full of legal riders and cautionary statements: the language of resolution 1441 "leaves the position unclear", "arguments can be made on both sides", and "the safest legal course would be to secure the adoption of a further resolution to authorise the use of force". Further, he advised that the government should "consider extremely carefully whether the evidence of non-cooperation and non-compliance by Iraq is sufficiently compelling to justify the conclusion that Iraq has failed to take its final opportunity".

Not surprisingly, the families want to establish why the attorney general ditched this opinion, why Tony Blair gave his unequivocal assurance, and whether regime change was the underlying purpose. Thus, they argue in a legal action next Thursday, an independent inquiry is required to establish why the military orders were issued.

See song below. This is for real.

Yes indeed, they are raving lunatics...this ditty proves it. They encourage us to let children listen. Prissy encourages you to shield them from this madness instead!

Oh my, Prissy has thought their kind have embarrassed America before-but this is downright humiliating! The lyrics are (for real): www.rightmarch.com/bushwasright.htm

Bush was right!

Bush was right!

Bush was right!

Ted Kennedy - wrong!

Cindy Sheehan - wrong!

France - WRONG!

Zell Miller - right!

Economy is on the rise kicking into overdrive

Angry liberals can't believe it's cause of W's policies

Unemployment's staying down, Democrats are wondering how

Revenue is going up, can you say "Tax Cuts"

Bush was right!

Bush was right!

Bush was right!

What You Can Do to Prepare Your Whistleblower Claim

What we learn from you in our meetings is crucial. Our initial interviews are especially important. In preparing for our meeting, please write down everything you know about the fraud you have discovered. Then keep a pad handy to record thoughts as they come to you. Here are key areas:

Describe where documents, computer files and other proof are located.

List names of all the others who have knowledge of the matter. Classify them as friendly or not, still employed or not.

Identify supervisors and others who likely would have participated in wrongdoing.

Describe the complete corporate structure of the offending company.

Make a list of the specific laws, regulations, rules and procedures that you believe were violated.

Writing too much is better than not writing enough. Don't exaggerate. It's never wrong to say you don't know something. Don't hold back the facts that might harm the case, or any negatives in your own background we need to know everything. Your success depends on it.

The report, completed by the Government Accountability Office, shows that the Army, National Guard and Marines signed up as few as a third of the Special Forces soldiers, intelligence specialists and translators that they had aimed for over the last year.

Both the Army and the Marines, for instance, fell short of their goals for hiring roadside bomb defusers by about 20 percent in each of the last two years. The Army Reserve, meanwhile, failed to fill about a third of its more than 1,500 intelligence analysts jobs. And in the National Guard, there have been consistent shortages filling positions involving tanks, field artillery and intelligence.

The report found that, in all, the military, which is engaged in the most demanding wartime recruitment effort since the 1970's, had failed to fully staff 41 percent of its array of combat and noncombat specialties.

Speaking of thoughtless geeks who start wars they could never fight themselves... today.reuters.com/PrinterFriendlyPopup.aspx?type=politicsNews&storyID=uri:2005-11-18T014228Z_01_MCC806094_RTRUKOC_0_US-IRAQ-USA-FEITH.xml Pentagon agrees to probe Feith's role in Iraq intel

Democrats have accused Feith of manipulating information from sources including discredited Iraqi politician Ahmad Chalabi to suggest links between Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda network, which masterminded the September 11, 2001, attacks.

Bush and other top administration officials cited alleged ties between Iraq and al Qaeda as a justification for military action. But the September 11 commission later reported that no collaborative relationship existed between the two.

The inspector general's office informed the Senate on October 19 that it would undertake a review after receiving separate requests from the Republican chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the ranking Democrat on the Senate Committee on Armed Services, officials said.

Congressional officials expect the review to look at whether Feith and his staff bypassed the CIA by giving the White House uncorroborated intelligence that sought to make a case for war in the months leading up to the 2003 Iraq invasion.

To whom does Feith pledge his allegiance? Perhaps the IG will find out soon...www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_congress_051117_war_in_iraq.htm OpEd News-War in Iraq by Congressman John Murtha

My plan calls:

To immediately redeploy U.S. troops consistent with the safety of U.S. forces.

To create a quick reaction force in the region.

To create an over- the- horizon presence of Marines.

To diplomatically pursue security and stability in Iraq

I have visited with the severely wounded of this war. They are suffering.

Because we in Congress are charged with sending our sons and daughters into battle, it is our responsibility, our OBLIGATION to speak out for them. ThatÂ’s why I am speaking out.

Our military has done everything that has been asked of them, the U.S. can not accomplish anything further in Iraq militarily. IT IS TIME TO BRING THEM HOME.

writ.news.findlaw.com/dean/20051118.html Find Law- An Open Letter To Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald From Former White House Counsel John W. Dean By JOHN W. DEAN

With all due respect, Mr. Fitzgerald, I believe you are being had. I believe that you were selected with the expectation that you would conduct the narrowest of investigations, and it seems you have done just that.

The leak of Valerie Wilson's status did not occur in a vacuum. Republicans in Congress do not want to know what truly happened. You are the last, best hope of the American people in this regard.

I can tell you, as someone who travels about the country, that Americans -- regardless of their political disposition -- are deeply troubled by this case. And, increasingly so, by the limits you have apparently placed on your investigation.

To right-minded Americans, the idea that Administration officials have betrayed their national security obligations, yet remain in their jobs, is nothing short of appalling. Beyond politics is patriotism: Patriotic Americans want to see you not only prosecute those who compromised and endangered Valerie Plame Wilson, but also force the Administration to clean house with respect to those who did this, which you can accomplish through appropriate civil action.

You see, even John Dean has never seen such rampant criminality in the White House..far worse than Watergate. articles.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20051118084409990006 AOL News-Committee Chair Wants to Declassify Iraq Material

The Michigan Republican says it's a way to learn what's inside more than 35,000 boxes that haven't been translated because the government doesn't have enough Arabic linguists with security clearances.

"Most people have acknowledged that we are never going to get through them," he said of the boxes. He's hoping to work with the new Iraqi government to put the documents online so journalists, academics and other researchers can sift through them.

Hoekstra has discussed the proposal with senior intelligence officials and on Friday will call on the intelligence community to issue the sweeping declassification.

www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_7666.shtml Capital Hill Blue-Bush's troubles mount as Republican defections increase

“"I've never seen anger like this in the American populace,"” says political scientist George Harleigh, who served in the Nixon administration. There'’s an old rule in politics that says no slide is irreversible. The President'’s declining numbers suggest he will go down in history as the exception to that rule.

Increasingly, GOP candidates for office " both incumbent and challengers "tell the White House and the national campaign committee they want nothing to do with Bush and will refuse to appear with him at any events.

Republican Senator Rick Santorum cancelled plans to appear with Bush in Pennsylvania on Veterans Day, a wise move as backlash continues to mount over the President's use of the day to bash opponents of his failed war in Iraq. Rep. J.D. Hayworth of Arizona told the White House this week he wants no help from the President and will not use Bush in any campaign ads in his re-election effort next year.

Republicans have no one to blame but themselves...they should have known American people have for the most part, lost their stomach for casualties since Vietnam. You know this, Prissy shouldn't have to tell you!

And now we have Military Families Speak Out, Gold Star Families for Peace, Vietnam Vets Against the War and Iraq Vets Against the War, who will remind them everyday- until the this war is stopped...

Wοah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It's
simplе, yet effectivе. A lot of times it's difficult to get that "perfect balance" between usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a superb job with this. Also, the blog loads super quick for me on Safari. Exceptional Blog!
