Socialism For the Rich...American Style

Tax cuts for the wealthy few is just the tip of the iceberg when we look at American Socialism for the wealthy .....(they refer to it as "unbridled Capitalism"-it sounds better) Oh Prissy, but here in America we are all equal, you say....Baloney. These are people with privilege and opportunity they would never be able to create, based on their actual abilities...

A professor friend at a local private college told Prissy that Ivy League colleges are prepared to accept 90% of their students based on "future leadership potential" (AKA- Wealthy students of alumni parents) Only 10% is reserved for academically gifted students. So you see why Prissy is not impressed with Dubya's degrees...in his case it is a handicap. He may own the diploma, but does not own the knowledge he should have earned with it....

This does not say much about the quality of a private college education. Sounds to Prissy like a highly overrated piece of paper....Especially if you consider the "gentleman's' C" private colleges are known to give to lazy rich kids who fail to show up to class. Prissy cannot relate, as she actually earned her education....

One more reason to send your child to a public university....Besides, kids in public colleges tend to value their education more, instead of taking it for granted. Less than 20% of Ohio residents have a Bachelors degree. If you have an education in America, you are fortunate.

Why shouldn't all Americans have that opportunity? With cuts in college benefits, like the Pell grant by the Bush administration, college becomes a remote possibility for all but lazy rich kids....and haven't we already seen how they do business?

Prissy has no problem with progressive rich kids, but they are indeed few and far between....what ever happened to "those to whom much is given, much is expected"...

Tell Prissy if you think this story would have a different ending...

Once upon a time, there was a nice looking boy born into a very wealthy oil family...on a trip to Ohio, his parents accidentally left him at the airport. We'll call him Frank.

Frank was only a baby. He was a cute baby and the pleasant lower middle class cleaning lady who found him decided to take him home. She and her husband raised Frank as their own, though they didn't have much to give him.

There were no summers in Kennebunkport or the Texas ranch, no prep schools. And college? Well, the public schools Frank attended didn't prepare him or any of the kids for a goal like that. Besides, Frank was a poor student and his daddy was no Yale Alumni. Frank was not especially dumb, but especially lazy...He didn't like to read and never turned in his homework.

The teachers at Frank's school didn't make much money, nor were they considered "cream of the crop", some flunked him and some didn't want to deal with him again. So they kept passing Frank along...then Frank turned 13.

Frank, who had always looked for the easy way out of any situation, decided it would be fun to start skipping school. So he did; with both of Franks' parents working all day at their menial paying jobs, it was really easy. Besides, Frank went to a decaying inner city school-so he wasn't really learning anything... and he thought books were for sissies anyway. All the cool guys did....

One day, while Frank was cutting school, he began hittin' it and drinking with some of the other older kids who were also dropouts. But Frank saw they were dropouts with some cash...Frank being lazy and high, wanted some easy money, so he started to sell the stuff he used.

There began a slippery slope for Frank...he was in and out of Juvi Hall for years...His parents wondered what went wrong, but they had no idea how to help him. Frank was not the only kid in the neighborhood who turned out "bad". Rehab costs a lot of money and Franks parents didn't have that kind of cash...

Finally, Frank went "down"...He got hard up for the crack he had "graduated" to and robbed a liquor store. The clerk didn't move fast enough for Frank, so he shot her...It all happened so fast, and Frank always did have a quick temper...

Now Frank is on death row...Frank is on death row not just because he is a criminal, but because he wasn't raised in a wealthy family who could bail him out in times of trouble. Frank had to use a public defender. He cannot hire a hot shot criminal defense lawyer James E. Sharp, like Dubya has...

Do tell, where do you suppose Dubya would be if he had been born into Franks' family? Jail? Taxpayer funded Rehab? Killed in a bar fight? One thing is for sure...he would not be President of the United States...

wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=45203FROM JOSEPH FARAH'S G2 BULLETIN -Al-Qaida nukes already in U.S.Terrorists, bombs smuggled across Mexico border by MS-13 gangsters

According to the author, the news sent Bush "through the roof," prompting him to order his national security team to give nuclear terrorism priority over every other threat to America. However, it is worth noting that Bush failed to translate this policy into securing the U.S.-Mexico border through which the nuclear weapons and al-Qaida operatives are believed to have passed with the help of the MS-13 smugglers. He did, however, order the building of underground bunkers away from major metropolitan areas for use by federal government managers following an attack.

The Bush administration's unwillingness to secure the U.S.-Mexico border has puzzled and dismayed a growing number of activists and ordinary citizens who see it as the No. 1 security threat to the nation. The Minuteman organization is planning a major mobilization of thousands of Americans this fall designed to shut down the entire 2,000-mile border as it did in April with a 23-mile stretch in Arizona.

According to Williams' sources, thousands of al-Qaida sleeper agents have now been forward deployed into the U.S. to carry out their individual roles in the coming "American Hiroshima" plan.

Bin Laden's goal, according to the book, is to kill at least 4 million Americans, 2 million of whom must be children. Only then, bin Laden has said, would the crimes committed by America on the Arab and Muslim world be avenged.

The future plan, according to captured al-Qaida agents and documents, suggests the attacks will take place simultaneously in major cities throughout the country including New York, Boston, Washington, Las Vegas, Miami, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Underground bunkers for federal government managers? We see whose behind Dubya is looking to protect.....what perfect timing. Let America get attacked again on Dubya's lazy watch, suspend Habeas Corpus and let the Martial law begin! Should that happen, Prissy will be packing for Canada or someplace with less oppression, as she will not live in a non Democracy.... Really, they are the ones who should prepare to leave America, for they hate our freedoms, not theirs...or we should succeed Texas to them? Then they can all live with their mutual hostilities and prejudice together..Obviously, it's these dangerous folks who should have to produce travel papers to be amongst the rest of us.....

worldnewstrust.org/modules/AMS/article.php?storyid=919 An Excerpt from World News Trust

It's unclear whether Halliburton was privy to information regarding Iran's nuclear activities. Halliburton sources said the company sold centrifuges and detonators to be used specifically for a nuclear reactor and oil and natural gas drilling parts for well projects to Oriental Oil Kish.

A company spokesperson did not return numerous calls for comment. A White House spokesperson also did not return calls for comment. In 1991, Halliburton sold Libya, another country that sponsors terrorism, nuclear detonator devices. The company paid more than $3 million in fines for violating a U.S. trade embargo that President Reagan imposed in 1986 because of Libya's ties to terrorist activities.

(Sold in 1991 to Libya? Hmm..is it OK to do business with a terrorist if they pay well?-PP)

Oriental Oil Kish dealings with Halliburton became public knowledge in January when the company announced that it had subcontracted parts of the South Pars natural gas drilling project to Halliburton Products and Services, a subsidiary of Dallas-based Halliburton that is registered in the Cayman Islands.

Following the announcement, Halliburton said the South Pars gas field project in Tehran would be its last project in Iran. The BBC reported that Halliburton, which took in $30-$40 million from its Iranian operations in 2003, "was winding down its work due to a poor business environment.

So... American government officials have previously allowed and even encouraged offshore subsidies of American companies like Halliburton to do business with hostile countries. That's so we may create wars over the products we sold them, later. You see how easy that was? Only for them....

What a grand plan....sell them tools, so they can make things we don't want them to have. When they use the tooling to make the things we don't want them to have, we can the manufacture a war against them. It worked in Iraq. In the 1980's Saddam was doing business with the same American boys whom later decided Saddam had to go. Look at these buddies shaking hands: Rummy gave him a gift...that was when Saddam hated Iran too....he was still our boy.

And what a great deal for our wealthy socialists....they get to make money, lot's of money several times for the same deal.. to get into the club, you must be one of them... I shall pass.

michaelhodges.com/stuff/funny/2008cc1.swf A Political Funny for your Sunday. Watch Hillary,Bush, Kerry, Cheney ect do a dance..(slow to load)

Bush's loyalty raises doubts about his political judgment No, say it isn't so....From Knight Ridder. realcities.com/mld/krwashington/12304921.htm An excerpt:

But when news of Palmeiro's positive drug test and 10-day suspension by Major League Baseball became public, Bush almost instantly backed the ballplayer, saying Palmeiro spoke truthfully on March 17 when he wagged his finger at the House Government Reform Committee and emphatically denied ever using steroids.

Bush's fondness for Palmeiro - who recently became only the fourth major league player to slam more than 500 home runs and 3,000 base hits - dates back to when Palmeiro played for the Rangers under Bush's ownership.

"Rafael Palmeiro is a friend. He testified in public and I believe him," Bush said Monday. "He's the kind of person that's going to stand up in front of the klieg lights and say he didn't use steroids, and I believe him. Still do."

Bush's quick defense seemed contradictory to some, in light of his previous tough talk on steroids.

"His defense in this case, so quickly, seemed like an about-face, from taking a stand to a ridiculous statement a fan might make to another fan in a bar," said Richard Lapchick, chairman of the DeVos Sports Business Management Program at the University of Central Florida. "It certainly didn't seem like he thought that one through." Oh, like he thinks anything through.....

washtimes.com/upi/20050723-082226-6626r.htm United Press InternationalIraq paper: Saddam to be executed soon-An excerpt: An Iraqi government newspaper said Saturday that toppled President Saddam Hussein was expected to be sentenced and executed within weeks. That is certainly one way to prevent him from "telling all" about what dirty deals went on in the 80's and who knows what else...Ironically, those deals went down with the ones who get to now push for his execution.

Saddam is not a good person....but neither are the Americans who did business with him..one more example of Socialism for the wealthy. See what happens should you attempt to do business with a country hostile to US interests or security.....

Taft, 5 others refusing to attend depositions for senator's lawsuitThursday, July 14, 2005 An excerpt: Saying executive privilege does not exist in Ohio law, Mr. Dann said if Mr. Taft, Mr. Allison, Mr. Samuel, Mr. Hicks, Mr. Conrad and Mr. Nedved do not show tomorrow, he plans to file a motion to compel their attendance.

"This is unacceptable. We will go the whole distance," he said.

More power to you, Mr. Dann... Let us see what would happen if John Q. Public tried to pull this move......yet another example of lawlessness or at the very least, a lack of ethical leadership standards in the Republican party...and the Dems? Either they have no PrissyBalls or they are also involved in the dirt...you decide, dear readers. Are you as weary of them as Prissy ? What are they waiting for to stop them....a revolution or a revelation?

Authorization for the Use of Military Force Against Iraq

March 18, 2003

Dear Mr. Speaker: (Dear Mr. President:)

Consistent with section 3(b) of the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 (Public Law 107-243), and based on information available to me, including that in the enclosed document, I determine that: (1) reliance by the United States on further diplomatic and other peaceful means alone will neither (A) adequately protect the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq nor (B) likely lead to enforcement of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq; and (2) acting pursuant to the Constitution and Public Law 107-243 is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.

Sincerely, GEORGE W. BUSH

citizenspook.blogspot.com/2005/08/treasongate-white-house-indicted-us.html NOW THIS is what Prissy was looking for....those boys are going down...be sure and read the comments. One is a letter from a lawyer in fed court, he talks about the attacks on the Chicago subway. Prissy read the dirty deals were intercepted by French and "good guys" in American intelligence....

TREASONGATE: White House Indicted? - US ATTORNEY'S OFFICE "ISSUES" OFFICIAL COMMENT

[UPDATE: August 5th, 2005, 11:10 p.m. EST. There are reports circulating on the internet that Randall Sanborn finally issued an official comment (after the following article was published?) which reversed the US Attorney's original comments to Citizen Spook and others. Citizen Spook has not verified the following comment, nor has it been officially posted by the US Attorney's office. The comment has been reported by Greg Syzmanski, SANBORN: “We are not talking about any aspect of this case and our office is not commenting on anything regarding the investigation at this time,” said Randall Sanborn from the office of U.S. federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald..."]

UPDATE Sorry readers, Prissy would wash dishes by hand for two days straight (without gloves!) to be able to verify this story. We don't do National Enquirer stuff, but this is very alluring, in light of the inconsistencies from the Bush Administration, it is very possible. Prissy gives it a 50/50 shot, considering the facts of this case...You say, Sure, Prissy, Sure. Keep in mind what Nixon (previous post-Watergate Redux) tried to do at the end of his presidency, and you will know to never say never-especially if the facts known appear to support such a case... Here's the word on the street:

BUSH PLANS TO FIRE PROSECUTOR:Bush plans to fire prosecutor as federal agents prepare to arrest him by Tom Flocco (Flocco is back online)

Washington -- August 7, 2005 -- TomFlocco.com -- Sunday morning online editions of Newsweek and Time are reporting that the President is planning to fire Chicago's U.S. Federal Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald (or his boss-PP)and replace him with a Bush classmate/Skull and Bonesman from Yale.

Following on the heels of these reports, we have learned from U.S. intelligence sources that federal agents are prepared to immediately arrest Mr. Bush if he fires Fitzgerald and seeks to obstruct justice and commit additional treasonous acts regarding ongoing grand jury proceedings against his administration and himself.

Pray for America, dear readers.......

Prissy thanks you again truth diamond, it was a great radio show.

Mr. Flocco has done an excellent job, he and the prosecutors on this case, along with many whistleblowers are true American heroes.

Prissy is also glad to see everything she learned in college wasn't just a bunch of law enforcement and American criminal justice idealism...it is a true and complete system of justice...even if it may be slow.
